An external VGA out will be nice to have when the internal display breaks and you will have to pay A LOT to get a replacement one from Roland... ;-)

In the future (when people are not so afraid anymore to open their Fantom G´s because of losing the warranty) someone may do some kind of external video otuput mod, if you just have the service manual this may not be suc...
