Monitor + Fantom g

Hi all!!! Is it possible to connect fantom g to an external monitor? Just to see everything whats on fantom in a bigger scream...

no I don't think you can add an external monitor, but, you can connect your pc to the fantomG and use the fantom G editor, where you can change everything also.

In the future (when people are not so afraid anymore to open their
Fantom G´s because of losing the warranty) someone may do some kind of external video otuput mod, if you just have the service manual this may not be such a hard thing to do if you´re into electronics....

There are other things that the Fantom-G is really missing, not a bigger screen or a vga output. And the screen is way bigger than any other workstation (apart from the discontinued Korg OASYS, that is). If you need a bigger screen, get yourself a computer.

An external VGA out will be nice to have when the internal display breaks and you will have to pay A LOT to get a replacement one from Roland... ;-)

I agree a big VGA screen adaption would be the cat's meow! I am now thinking how to rig up a camera and blow the image to a screen like Warren has.
