Digital coaxial input on the XT

Hi

I have a synth with digital coaxial output and would like to process the
sounds of it with the XTs filters and so on, however I can not find a way
to select the coax input on the XT, only analog or USB is possible as far as I can see,
am I missing something here ? And if this is not possible I wonder whats
the use of the coaxial input then ?

Well I have a GT, but it seems similar. You can't use coax in as an oscillator, but you can use it for sampling.

So you could sample something in off coax, then use that sample as a PCM oscillator.

Seems like a strange limitation to me too, but whatever...
