Hi!
Could you help me to decrease the LCD brightness of Fantom-G?

Hi,

not possible. There's neither a potentiometer or similar to set the brightness nor a menu-entry in the system-menu.

On the other hand - maybe I could help however: give me your fantom and a hammer - I'll do the rest, the display will be even darker after that ;-))) (joke)

You what, I think if it's too bright you can search local stores for LCD protective films with dimming effect.

There actually is a setting within the Fantom G that may help. Go into Menu/System/Screensaver/F5 Appearance and on the Transparency setting set the transparency lower and it should reduce the glare somewhat and might be suitable for you. I would recommend reducing it all the way to 1% but whatever setting you choose, if you want to save the setting press F7 "Sys Write" to do so. Hope this helps. If it's not sufficient then Artemiy's idea is worth considering also.

Screen saver nr 6 consists in diminuating the brightness of the screen indeed. If you make system settings so that the Screen Saver appears after 1 minute and set the SS to nr 6 than maybe you can extend the life of the LCD. Maybe. Another thing that you can try is to set a darker image as background and eventually play with the degree of transparency.
But there's no dedicated function or button regarding LCD brightness.
