Re: No new Fantom. Sorry Guys. Don´t be fooled by the roland

Thats interesting, because I thought Korg pianos and Korg and Roland guitars always sounded 'plasticky'. For eg, Motif ES has a guitar just just sounds like U2's guitars in most of their songs. Can't say the same for any of the X's guitars even with COSM effects.
One man's 7 flavor layered milkshake is another man's poison, so each person to his own. - I for one ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Juno-G for techno and dnb, but will never ever use it for anything acoustic or orchestral (unless I get an SRX board)

Oh really? Can you give me the links to the Motif XS clips?
Where your premise is wrong is where you keep assuming that the new XS sounds like the older Motifs; nobody has even heard the new Motif XS (unless you work for Yamaha, but then you would be promoting it instead).
Dave Polich and Phil Clendenin (Yamaha pros) said that they sound very 'phat' and analog-like with immense presence.
As I said in another thread, don't judge something based on your assumption. See it, listen to it, learn it and then you can choose to love/hate it.
