Thanks! THe Fantom is my only piece of equipment I actively use so I try to keep it as centerstage as possible =D

The box is the control module for the Doepfer R2M unit.

So, it's a ribbon controller, then? Anyway, I think I like your set-up because it's simple and "musical." I think the sheet music and the large-diaphragm mic is what got me. I'm thinking of getting the AudioTechnica 3035 for $180. But then I also need a good mic for my acoustic guitar. Not sure which one to get for that.

The mic I'm using is an Apex 415, and it has served me well for everything from vocals to micing guitar cabs blaring out metal riffs. I run it through a simple yet effective Presonus BlueTube preamp, then into the Fantoms inputs.

Yea, the Doepfer is a ribbon controller, a nice one at that. See this thread for more info on it from me -

I like to keep my rig as simple and simplistic as possible, so I don't have a bunch of techno mumble-jumble coming between me and, well, playing music. Heres another pic of my rig in a live playing situation. Even simpler there, for I have no singing duties to tend to =)

You can see my Bluetube sitting on top of our monitor mixer, thats the extent of my gear right now. Lucky me also gets dragged into to being the sound guy when no else is there to do it.
