What's holding your V-Synth GT on the wall there Rez? Looks like just the thing I need.

Hi, Synthia!

Yeah, isn't that Behringer line mixer great? I only wish it had an additional monitor out stereo pair (like every other mixer in the world does), in addition to its SINGLE pair of TRS outputs (and headphone jack)! I mean, with all those inputs, only one pair of TRS outputs??? But it's really the only game in town, isn't it? I searched all over for an appropriate line mixer, and this was really the only one that had what I needed (and nothing more). And it's only like $109 USD!

Yup, and I just love that Tascam CD recorder, too. Did you hook up a PS/2 keyboard to it? The labeling feature works great with any old PC keyboard. Sometimes, I don't even "master" into the Fantom, I just play "live" into the recorder for quick tracks that I want to audition later in my car, when driving to work. Good place to get ideas . . . in your car while driving.

Since I love mounting stuff on the wall (zero floor footprint), I was thinking of getting one of these. It's not made for audio gear, it's a telco-style one, so it's not as deep. But if your gear is shallow, it should still work, Wait, I just checked—this one is actually 18" deep—I think it's made for home audiophile stuff! Plus, this swing-out feature is awesome! Comes in 12U, 20U, and 25U heights.

I just searched in Google for "wall mount rack" and found several other telco-style racks that would work, too.

Hi rez,

Yeah,I love my Tascam as it's so easy to use and the recordings sound brilliant.I always play live into it and it never fails me.I may get myself another unit for back up.
The Euro Racks are just right for me.My Euro Rack is an older clunkier one than yours but it works fine with me.

Last week I had another play with the GT and I found a Virus to twiddle with. The Virus does sound incredible.I found a CS80 patch on there which blew me away.My OASYS can emulate alot of that sort of stuff with the LAC sounds.I'm still saving my pennies for a Motif XS.
