Re: Question for all you G experts!
21 Mar 2008, 15:37Then why are you posting something here at all? There are plenty of forums on the net where people do not intend to respect each other. This is not such a place. And if you did not realize this since your first time here in 2005 (according to your profile), Roland Clan is probably not for you. (Go on, call me a mad dictator, but I want peace and harmony, what's so bad about it?honestly I don't give a damn about any respect from you all fanatic kids...
We have heard your opinion once, twice and even a bit more. That's great, but why continue to trash multiple threads with it? Save your time, make some music.
It is not far, but it is one level above, since there is a new generator chip and better digital-to-analog converters. The overal sound character hasn't changed much, true, and it's that Roland sound me and many here love and appreciate. It's not a revolution but an evolution. But you can't say that 22 effects, 64 steps in the LFO and a few other goodies is not a major leap for the Fantom-G.FYI I heard fantom G personally up and close, and the sound is not far from juno-g and there is nothing you can do about it.
It is not THAT better, but notably better.
