just a note on keywear - i've got a GX and noticed the keys started wearing quicker than normal and getting a bit flakey. I reported it to the shop i bought it from and Roland replaced the whole keybed under warranty, with a newer keybed i think which is used in the v-piano, etc (slightly off white, not as shiny).
Anyway to cut a long story short, got it home played it over the next few months, with a few studio jam sessions, and one day i moved the keyboard in a sunnier room, and noticed 5 of the more worn down keys (middle c, a few lower c's, E above middle C all have small fracture cracks on the side of the keys next to the black keys... very dissapointed.
Got in touch with the roland shop again, sent them photos. They forwarded it to Roland and once again Roland will replace the keybed for me at no cost and out of warranty, so cant complain about the good service!
How can i know that the same thing wont happen to me again - thinking of selling it and getting a non-roland stage piano as havent been too pleased with the keywear/cracks to say the least!
