Proud dad

Hi all,
Just thought I'd share the news that on the 31st of March my wife gave birth to a baby boy who we named Mark. Suffering from sleep depravation at the moment. But it'll get better with time.
We now have 2 boys. By the way, our 3 year old can't get enough of the X8. His favourites are of course the GM sound effects. In particular the train and the creaking door.

Been there (three times). I hope your wife gets over the sleep deprivation too!

My kids leave my Fantom alone. But I did used to have a synth they couldn't get enough of -- the Korg Karma. They could play and twist knobs on that baby for hours! (of course, so could I!).

Congratulations on your new addition!

Dave

Congratulations Gino...

Can I suggest that Marks middle name be Artemio??? :)

Here's to Mark staying healthy, putting on the pounds, and sleeping through the night very soon.

BTW, how are all those frogs down there that I've been reading about?

Congratulations, Gino!

My kids and step-kids range from 25 to 30 and I'm still proud of them all (even though none became musicians despite talent). You have a lot of good times ahead with them! ENJOY!

Congrats! Last year, on 17th September, my wife made us the happiest pair in the world with our daughter Miroslava. She likes to play my FS since the age of 5 months by the way!

Well Done Gino, and good luck with the sleeping!

By the way, now that I've got 2 lovely daughters , I'm off to have my bollocks severed. Just thought I'd share it with you lot.

I think you need to get him his own X6 soon! :)

Congratulations Gino, to your new band member.

DogZilla, its a very complicated and delicate issue that you are facing here right now - it may require some deep thinking and probing...

...from a Western medical point of view its a simple mechanical procedure, fairly risk free and without any repercussions (except sterility).
...from a Chinese medical point of view its an energetic procedure that can have repercussions on your health, vitality and well-being.
So... you may want to 'toss the coins' and decide what medical philosophy you want to folllow before reaching the final decision...

My mom has asked me several times when she's going to have a grandkid.

I said "never." She says "why not you'd make a great father" I say... "yeah, but no kids. How about a grand-dog?"

Damn - thanks Jost. I was happy in my ignorance.. (not that I necessarily believe in chinese medicine, I don't discredit it either!)

To have my bollocks severed or not to have my bollocks severed?

Believe or not believe Chinese Medicine, if the bollocks are severed you can't go back.

I personally wouldn't do it, we don't know enough yet about the energetic nature of the human body and the 'bollocks' are the foundation for energy production in medicines that consider energy rather than matter as the basis for life.
