So all 128 patches in bank F need to be moved to the user area of your Fantom-Xa. This is very easy to do but a little time consuming. Here is how it would be done on my Fantom-S and I presume it is exactly the same on your Fantom-Xa or very close to this anyway. Go to patch number 1 in bank F and then hit the “write” button on your Fantom-Xa. Hit F2 “patch/rhythm.” Then hit F2 “write.” Then pick the location; User 001 in this case, and hit F8 “write”. Repeat this procedure for all 128 patches in bank F. Don’t worry about loosing the first 128 patches in the user area of your Fantom-Xa as you can restore them by doing a factory reset or you can save them as a Librarian file which is what I am going to tell you how to do next and besides, these user patches are just duplicates of patches in the other banks of your Fantom-Xa anyway.
Now you are ready to get these 128 patches to your computer because they are all now in the user area of your Fantom-Xa which makes it so they can be read into the librarian software on your computer. Bring up the librarian software on your computer and pick location #1 so that it is highlighted. Now scroll down to location #128 and pick it while holding down your shift key on your computers keyboard. Now all locations between #1 and #128 on the librarian should be highlighted. If this is the case hit the read selected button and answer OK to the if your really want to do this or not question. Then go get yourself something to drink while the librarian software retrieves these 128 patches from the user area which will take a couple of minutes. Once the librarian software has completed getting the 128 patches highlight them again, if they are not already highlighted, and go to the edit menu and copy these patches. Next, open up a new librarian window from the file menu and select the first location so that it is highlighted and then go back to the edit menu and select insert so that these 128 patches are all in the new librarian window. Now go to the file menu and select save as and put these 128 patches on your hard drive wherever you like. Now send Artemio e-mail by using one of the links on this site and send this file as an attachment with this e-mail and Artemio will take care of the rest.
Thanks for doing this! You will make a lot of Fantom-S and X owners very happy.
(edit) PS I am a highly flawed human being and the above instructions might have a mistake or two in them especially since some of them were going completely of my faulty memory but I do believe that these are correct and am confident that you can work around any errors by reading all of the instructions and giving this procedure a little thought.
