Sitar drones anyone?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I might find a free sitar drone sample, I only really need 1 note I think, the D below middle C. It needs to be quite long though.....

Thanks people!

Well, I'm a sitarplayer myself and people asked me here if i am willing to make some samples for the fantomized-archive. I promised to do that,
so tell me what you are looking.

The drone-sound which you hear in almost every indian music-piece,
its not a sitar, but a tampura. This sound is available in the World-expansionboard of Roland. And I think there are also sounds like that in the fantoms anyway, but I have to check that.

Thanks.

I guess the sound I'm after will be the tampura then..... I'll have a google for that and see what comes up!

Cheers.
