Factory Test Program - how to activate?

I was looking for a longer time, with which button-combination (similar to the XP-Test-Mode) I can get into the Test-Mode, but I think, on this way it is not possible. Jimmy wrote in his Firmware-Story, that there possibly is a Test-Programm on USB-Stick, with which you can test all the functions of the FA.
Also looking for longer time for a Service-Manual of the FA, but also didn‘t find!

It's possible that the program is activated after the keyboard is up, in a way similar to Fantom X. On that one, you had to put the keyboard into Librarian mode, and then press a sequence of buttons.

Besides the obvious answer which is the Service Manual, it may be possible for one to figure it out if we manage to find how key presses are mapped to actions in the code - whether it's a button you press at startup (e.g. PREVIEW for SRX expansion, WRITE for firmware update), or one you press after keyboard is up. That's a hard job, though. I'll see if I can spend more time in it, and I'll get back to this thread if I come up with something.

You know the buttons next to the screen, with the numbers on them? Hold down buttons 5, 7, and 9 while turning it on.

Hi, thanks for the info i can get into diag mode, how ever my problem is no sound output at all with mains or head phones is there a way to test the volume decoder pot ? i found all but that in the menu.

Did you check and see if your "Local" function got turned off? This will result in no sound if you play the keys.

I'm fully aware that it's not intended for the regular user, but you know, I'm curious. :-) I even extracted the firmware files using the tips found at https://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6886 and at http://rolandfatools.mooo.com, and managed to find the code for the Test Program. But I can't seem to find how to trigger it. If only we had access to the Service Manual...
