Roland Cloud offers 3 subscription models.

As an Aira system owner I am only interested in Legendary plug-outs and the plugins to send/receive patches and control the hardware. Legendary is only available under the ultimate membership.
Other consumer might interested in sub packages as well instead of the "whole deal"

If I understand well, to get full package of all the plugin/outs that have now been released and work together with the System 8 (and some 1) hardware you will need the Jupiter 8 ($149), System-8 ($129), System-1,($99) , SH-101 (99), System-100 ($129), JX-3P ($129), Juno 60 ($149) , Juno 106 ($149), Pro-mars ($99), SH-2 ($99) products, which total will set you back US $1230 (around $1000 for System 8 hardware owners and $500 for the System-1 items) to really "own" these forever and make this product "complete" which is actually almost the same as the hardware itself.

Now that it looks like no more plug in/outs for these hardware are on the way , hope Roland comes out a lower cost subscription or model only for Legendary plug/in outs or to buy the whole plugin/out package at bundling price, like a 50% off lifetime deal. (Wishful thinking ?)

I don't think Roland have dropped ACB as yet. There may be more new ACB emulations to come. But as it's the same ACB as used in the Cloud VSTs, I don't think the price of the standalone VSTs will drop for a while as Roland is still pushing the Cloud packages. What you might see is a 'System 16' or 'System 12' with more plugout support and the older plugouts bundled in free. The System 8 and System 1 are both great polyphonic synths in their own right, there might be a System 16 at some point....?

Would not have a concern to pay for such a bit extra, a better key-bed, 2LFO's + more plug-outs that would be enabled by that :-), But in general don't see a new System (X) or whatever coming soon and such an offer would really be nice to complete the System 8 setup. Roland is too much into making anything Zen nowadays + Zen seems to be replacing ACB in the Aira range of models. (See: MC-707/101).

Zencore is Roland's new baby, but it isn't a true emulation like ACB. Behringer are re-doing half of Roland's classics in the original analogue format that many want, but ACB can be miniturised or bundled into devices. Roland's biggest mistake with the System 1 and System 8 was the colour scheme, a bit too 'Aira'. In a different styling with support for maybe concurrent 10 plugouts, mix and match of patches etc, 12/16 note polyphony, and maybe some new plugouts that are NEW synths rather than just classics, there's still money to be made by Roland on ACB, if they play it right.

Thank you Roland for listening (Ref: System-8 Polysynth Offer on Roland Cloud)
How about a bundle for the System1/1m plugouts ?

Well, after 2 years, finally, .. Analog Monosynth Collection
Thank you Roland to consider customer suggestions !
P.S: A bit odd in here is the TB-303 which does have plugout functionality.
Would rather have seen the SYSTEM-1 plugout in there. [attachment: Screenshot from 2024-07-04 07-43-03.png]
