I notice they don't specify _which_ hardware in the press release - "and will soon enhance compatible Roland ZEN-Core hardware." Is there any particular reason to think this will (or, won't) work with Fantom?

I have doubts ... IMHO If the synthesis model used by the JX-8P module is ABM (analog behavior modeling), I find it at least strange and curious that it is available for the Fantom.

The Jupiter X/XM already has a Jx-8P. I don‘t think the MC-101 is compatible ;)

No Hardware ist listed for now. I think Fantom users can buy lifetime keys for all 4 Expansion Models from the Jupiter as Jupiter x users can buy 15 EXZ Expansions from the Fantom. Makes sense?

Can‘t wait for 2.0 Update.

As a Fantom 6 owner I believe that I´m not ready to pay 150 for each model expansion...
So I don´t care if expansions will be supported in future OS (unless they cost 20 bucks tops) ;)

I guess they will cost 75$ each. This will correspond to The Jupiter X User who has to pay 300$ For 15 Expansions and the Fantom user 300$ for 4 Expansions. I hope too that they will be available for just 20$.

Fantom is the flagship Roland Workstation and I'm sure the 4 model banks will be free

Yes it should be free but I doubt it will be, they’re trying to nickel and dime for sdx expansions for Fantom owners already. What do you expect from a company that price fixes?

I'll take a wild guess, under the hope that ABM models will become available for the Fantom:

They will be included in a Ultimate RC membership, with lifetime keys prices at no more than $20/each ... perhaps free.

Kinda reminds me of when I bought my Korg Kronos and you had to buy the PolySix and MS20 expansions... oh, wait... no, that's right... they already came with it... for free!!
