New Fantom 7

18 Jan 2020, 15:40

Ok, Sam Ash has a trade in and 10% off sale this weekend so I just picked up a new Fantom 7. Should be delivered next week. The 1.50 update is not available I see. Just the 1.11 correct? So what new sounds can I put on this keyboard at 1.11 version? The Axial expansions? Or the zen-cores? Or the supernaturals?

Also, what specific bugs should I immediately look for in this unit when I fire it up next week? I would like to learn from current owners what to watch out for so I can always return this unti within 45 days if defective.

Thanks! Hope to be joining the ranks of Fantom owners here very soon!

Hi, if you dont whish be a beta tester, imho stay on 1.11 until 1.50 get a tweak and solves somes bugs well explained in this forums. Right now you can download all 15 axial sound banks availables. SuperNatural comes in ver1.5 (but no yet pianos)

Thanks mostinif, are there instructions for installing these AXIAL expansions on the Fantom? I looked at the READ ME file with the expansion file but it did not have instructions.
