Factory Patches Saved as Presonus Studio One Presets (Free)

Hey Everybody,

I use Studio One and prefer using its preset system rather than browsing in the various UI's of VSTs to explore sounds. So, I converted some of my most used Roland Cloud VST Factory Patches as Studio One Presets.

I own a System-8, so my top priorities for conversion were the System-8 VST, Jupiter-8 VST and the JUNO-106 VST.

This could be useful to you if you also use Studio One and like its preset workflow, and if you own a System-8, you could also use it as a backup solution.

You can download them on my website for free at http://nervewar.net/presets/

Also if any of you find this useful and want any of the other VST patches converted, lemme know. I'm thinking of doing the SH-101 next...

Cheers!

Very nice. I was just working my way through saving patches as Logic presets the other day. It takes a long time!

I'm a little late but thanks for posting. I love using Studio One. It would be great to have the D-50 and JV-1080 presets saved. How would I go about doing this myself? Is it a long process? Thanks again for the post!

Hey sorry for the months late reply, I thought I would get e-mail notifications about replies here but apparently not. Anyway, it is a pretty tedious process but quite easy. If you haven't figured it out yet, you simply:

1) Open the preset you want to save within the instrument itself
2) Click the "Store Preset" button within Studio One's Plugin window. It's in the upper left, third icon from the left, looks like a little piece of paper with 3 lines in it.
3) In the dialog window just name the preset exactly as it's named in the instrument
4) I also recommend adding it into a subfolder that's named exactly the same as the preset bank inside the instrument

Then it's just a matter of repeating that process over and over and over for all the presets.

If you haven't got around to it yet I could probably do the D-50 and JV-1080 soon. I've been planning on doing them all but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Anyway hope this helps and sorry again for the slow reply!

Hahaha yeah it sure does! But worth it after all the monotony :)
