FA 06 pads to trigger DAW virtual drum pads??

Hi all, I'm running Presonus Studio One 4 and would like to know if it is possible to use the FA 06's 16 pads to trigger the VST 16 drum pads? The FA pads work great to control the internal functions of the workstation however I'm not seeing that I can trigger a DAW plug-in. Is this possible?

If they're set to sample pad mode they should send out standard note data on channel 10, i just tried it with Impact XT and works fine.

They're not velocity sensitive however!

You also need a sample loaded into each pad for it to send a message, so just record some blank audio into all of them. or something.
