Hi Guys

If you are using the Digital in on yours Mx 1 I'm curious to find out what you have connected to this one?
Is it possible to hook up a computer for listening to I tunes thru the earphone out?

Cheers
Jack

I have a Jupiter-80 hooked up to the digital in of my MX-1.
It's the only instrument with a digital output in my studio so I don't think I have much choice. ;-)

This will be also good for guys having the Integra-7 ;-), as there are no MX-1 drivers to support connecting the i-7 via USB/AUDIO :-(

That's pretty stupid.
On the Dutch Synthforum the Integra-7 is quite a popular module unlike the Jupiter-80, which is one of the most bashed instruments of the last decade I suppose.

The funny thing is that the release of the Integra-7 lead to the purchase of the JP-80.
When the JP-80 was announced I didn't pay much attention to it because it was way out of my league.
When I expressed my interest in the Integra-7 to my wife she wanted to hear it and since there weren't much demos of it, I turned to Jupiter-80 demos since it has the same sound engine.

My wife had just begun in het new function with an accompanying salary rise and said:"Why don't we buy a Jupiter-80?"
She argued that it would be far more hands-on to edit and make your own sounds and would be a nice master keyboard in our studio.
The rest is history. ;-)

With the MX-1 in my studio the choice for the Jupiter even makes more sense.

Sorry for this very off-topic post by the way.

Sorry

Haven't seen many synths that have digital out what i can remember, even newer one´s, would preferred a regular stereo line in, everything is occupied now but the digital sits empty on mine Mx 1.

Cheers

I just use this channel for ableton integrations (as output from DAW). But I am planning to use it as return for my fx. So I can mute it if wanted more fast than with the knob on the left.
