is Talib Qweli back with HI Tek? cuz the last album he did after 'Reflections Eternal'(wich was the sh*t) got me disapointed. then when I looked at the credits, Hi Tek aint have nothing to do wit it. I hope one day he can outperform 'Reflections Eternal'.. I think everything in that album was dope!

Hi-Tek did some tracks on this new album. Talib also had tracks from Just Blaze, Kanye, Charlemagne and others. Reviews for the album has been luke warm but I like it better than the first solo effort myself.

Reflection Eternal is classic in all sense of the term. The Beats where sick. The lyrics prolific. I actually brought two copies of the album and can't find either one now. I need a copy. I'm not buying it again.

On a completely different note, don't forget Ali Shaheed Muhammed has a new label and he has an album dropping this coming Tuesday. From what I've heard, he has a group of producers ready to take it back to the ATCQ sound without using samples. How he's supposed to do that is beyond me but I'm gonna pick it up, regardless.

Yeah. Mostly slow and mid-tempo jams. He gives you about 20 or so songs. No skits. He did inlist the help of other producers this time around too. Big improvement the last cd. He stepped up his game.

btw...I really liked your song on the first Fantomized compilation. I started to sample it(as we "hiphop heads" often do) but thought better of it being ur a highly respected member of this forum.

alot of my songs are done without samples, and they sound just as or better than the ones with samples...but i also have plenty with samples....

check out Femoguse', at download.com i don't want to show anyone here cuz it's in spanish and none of it was done with the fantom X, it was all done with RM1X and SU700 almost 2 years ago. some of them have samples and some don't. it's aiight and a little dated. I actualy do an appearance in one of the songs called "contrato verbal"(verbal contarct) but if u don't speak spanish it's worthless. but our timing is persise, and that is something u can tell no matter what language it is..
we just found out about that site so he just finished submitting it on the 1st of this month, and already he has over 500 downloads it's more than anyone else in that genre in that little timeframe. so it's kinda cool even though i wish i would have done some things differ'ntly but thats the way that ball bounced. it's not for everyone... maybe i should post them in the Spanish portion of this site. na.... it's not at all fantom X...

but I'll be finishing another guy's album hopefully with in a few weeks...I still need to master it and take Pix, and design the cover. But this one is the one I'm hoping to share here with the fantomized community. I'm pretty excited bout this one as it will be in english and MOSTLY done with the FX. the name he goes by is MT. Zion, and he was freaked when we met in 2001 to find out I actually live in a small city named Zion. he's in one of the songs in Femoguse's spot called "Zamurai" it's pretty dope. I hope u like it..

I just spoke to my boy Femo and he told me that he's in soundclick also so look him up. and he also included a song we did for a comercial for COCA COLA wich was playin in spanish radio's last summer in chicago. they had edited it so they can put their part to the comercial, but he put the original song in there. so maybe check it out.

like I said, I ain't postin here cuz ther are no roland instruments involved in the production..and I'm only really speakin to u cuz u know Hip-Hop....

My wife is listening to a latino artist named Angel Martinez(I think that's his name). You ever heard of him? He's singing spanish rnb music. Mind you, neither one of us speak or understand a lick of spanish. But it's hot none the less.

Septimo, maybe you can help me out here? How come it is that when people rap and sing in spanish...it still rhymes??? The same words in english don't sound like the same words in spanish. I always thought that was odd.

I'm definitely not understandin this statement, but I'll take a stab at it.

words in english are differ'nt to words in spanish. Sure some words are simmilar but most are differ'nt..

now I know u probably meant somthin else(cuz to me it's obvious) but this was the best I could decipher it.

is this what u were askin? if not ask again, and maybe i'll understand a little clearer, Sorry man...
