Fantom x6 plays sine tone only

I have an x6 that as of today only plays a sine wave instead of all of the normal patches(guitars, strings, etc). I have had this board (bought used) for a while and this has never happened. I rebooted and it is still doing this. Ideas?

Can you edit a patch and change the wave form?

I did a factory reset and the original sounds came back. I am still not sure of what happened or why. Hopefully it will continue to work.
