Question about a PhraseList-Menu function

last time I went into the PhraseList in Song-Mode and I thought: "What the hell is the Load-Function for"
Can anyone tell me this? If activating this function, there is something processed on the phrase, but the phrase was loaded before by selecting, right? It seems that the "Load"-menuentry is useless, or?
