Could someone tell me which CF cards are supported by the original V-Synth?

It doesn't have a CF card slot, but a PC card slot - so it will support any CF card that the PC card to CF adapter itself supports.

Ooops, sorry about that. So in other words any size can be recognized by the V-Synth...? Often older models stop at a certain point, for instance my SP-606 can only access 512mb cards.

Uhm, you didn't write you mean size, but in regard to this, it's up to 1 GB officially, although I have heard about 2 GB cards working as well.

That's right, a few guys are reporting some 2Gb CF brands seem to work, others don't (like my Silicon Power - Ultima 2Gb, that doesn't - the V doesn't "see" the files loaded there).
My opinion... use a Kingston 1Gb (if you still can find one)

Hi Hugo,
The supported formats are:
- Microdrive (a mini Hard Disk)
- SmartMedia (SM)
- Compact Flash (CF) - this is the most common one and the easier to find a PC Card adapter to.

Thanks for this info, Paulo. I do have a CF card at the moment, but at only 128mb. I'll try and find some larger ones at ebay. Thanks again :)
