RD700GX & Garageband

Hi,

I'm using my RD700GX mostly on stage, just playing realtime.

But I'd like to try some things in Garageband, on a Mac.
Normally for Garageband I use this very simple midi-keyboard: it's plug and play.

But my RD700GX seems not to connect either to my Mac or to Garageband.
I'm using the same USB-midi cable as I use for my midi keyboard.

Do I need some extra drivers or something?

Hi again,

Some extra RTFM did the job...

Just changing the USB driver's value to 'GENERIC' and restarting the RD solved the problem.

So this topic can be closed.

Anyway: still two extra messages to prevend this forum from being shut down!

Do not worry, seeing now that the forum woke up I doubt it will be shut down! I did not realize that RD users actually went to play their RD's and not post and post like I do instead... hmmmm...

Thanks Artemiy for keeping the GX forum going. I started here when I bought my Juno-G last year, and have now also bought the RD 700gx, and both forums mean a great deal to me.
