Sticky posts now in bold

Hey all,

I have changed the forum code a bit so that the sticky posts are displayed with the subject in bold, instead of the word "sticky" before the subject.

Does it look better this way?

I like it too, although it reminds me of new messages in my inbox.

Is there a 'sticky' icon that could describe the function further and still differentiate?

I must admit I'm finding this confusing. I think because of e-mail programmes etc my brain interprets bold to mean unread.

Perhaps an icon would be an alternative.

Andy, I think what you're saying is actually an advantage ;-) See, people really need to pay more attention to the stickies, e.g. read the FAQ and install OS update prior to asking any questions.

I think that the best way to show a sticky thread is to use a specific new icon, like that of the folder, but slightly altered with a little pin on it.
Ditto for the locked threads. Currently, the only way to see that a thread is locked is to go into it and see that there are no options for replying. I think that this has to change too.

All said, I'm really glad to see that Art is always trying to improve the Clan. Thanks for that Art! :-)

Damn, seems to be the locked thread is not displaying it's status! ;-) Thanks for the report, cyclops. Will look into the code now.
