Who knows this song??
28 Jun 2009, 17:30Hi all,
today an old song came into my mind and I tried to remember its title and artist - but no chance, I don't remember. Maybe some of you could help??
It's a synthpop song which was popular about 1982 / 1983. There where 2 versions: an instrumental version and one with vocals.
I remember that I liked this song at that time because that time was the beginning of my "synth-aera"
So I tried to reproduce it with my then used equipment.
Today, only a fragment of the song is in my mind: the intro of it.
So I reproduced it out of my mind with my F G6 (using the opportunity to learn more about the studio-mode whereas I only used live-mode till now) and you can hear the result by downloading the mp3 from here: http://simon-mh.de/roland/80s_song.mp3
As I said: I only remember the intro, therefore it stops immediately.
Please excuse that the track is not perfectly mixed and the sound-selection (especially drums) is not really fine, but I think it should be enough to get an idea of what I mean.
Also, the song may not be a "chart-breaker" from today's view, but the tune is linked with some "special memories" of that time...
Thanks in advance,
greetings from germany,
Pierre
