Survey: Arp
How many of you use the Arp function of our Fantom G?

[ ] 1. Not at all, couldn't care less.
[ ] 2. Not at all, but I find it interesting.
[ ] 3. I use it but don't find it useful.
[ ] 4. I use it and love it.

The apr function and phrases are not as useful on the Fantom G as I find on the M3/XS stuff. I use the Fantom as an instrument and sequencer mainly.
Fantom G & X7, Motif XS6, M3, V-synth, JP8000, M1, Wavestation, Radias, Nord Lead 2X, Karma, Snow, electribes and other groove boxes.

At present I barely use it due to the limitations. I am aware that Yamaha holds some kind of patent for arpeggiation, but there should be some kind of creator function available similar to that available on Fruity Loops.

I think the main reason why I don't use it is in its limited use for me, however I find it silly that the Fantom X has an arp editor while the G does not. It is quite possible that I would have more use for it if I could create tabla like percussive patterns as I work with a lot of Indian Raga / Tala styles.

An arpeggiator that can't be programmed is useless to me. When Roland decides to give me my money's worth by including this rudimentary feature, I'll use it daily.
