viewed post indicator

Don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but the red envelope indicator that shows if you have read the latest post in a thread or not seems to be acting in a random way for me today.

I can read all the lastest posts, press refresh and it shows a completely different list of posts it thinks I haven't read. If I read them, then refresh, it shows another list, including posts I did read earlier, and so on....

Well, this is pretty obvious. Since you are a Grumpy Old Professor, by the time you read all latest post, lots of news messages are being posted.

Frankly, this may be my SuperBuggy™ GMT time thing. Try to logout and then login so any old data stored in database and your browser's cookies is refreshed with new GMT data.

So, did logging out and then in help? Maybe try to go to your browser's cookie manager and erase all cookies from this site and then re-login.
