NEW Fantom G8 User is stuck. Please Help!!
15 Feb 2009, 10:49Hey guys. I just got my fantom last week and while I've so far been pretty much amazed by this machine I've run into one problem that for the life of me I can't resolve.
(This could have something to do with my junior knowledge of midi)
So here's the thing...
1. I enter song mode and record a "stabbing" guitar line on line 1
2. I record a second drum drack on line 2
3. I record a piano track on line three
The problem is when I play back, my piano track has lost all of it's sustain.
So to troubleshoot I muted my guitar line and left only the drum and piano line to play.
The issue went away and the piano's sustain notes came back.
I muted the drum line and left the guitar and piano playing and the problem persisted.
So it's something about the guitar that's stripping the sustain notes from the piano.
Does this have something to do with those two tracks sharing some kind of channel?
Do I need more ram?
Thanks a lot!!!
