Track edit delete

Hi I want to delete a measure from the begining of each phrase in a song. Track Edit delete - Source-ALL, measure 1, For 1. It highlights the selected area, I press execute, and all midi track are deleted. Something i'm missing or a bug?

If its a bug I will raise it with roland UK in about a weeks time - its takes that long to get registered!

Edit funtions in the song area only work on whole phrases.
so if a phrase is 10 bars in the song and you try to delete 2 bars, it will delete the whole 10 bar phrase.

I see - you can only insert or delete outside of phrases, but not within. If you try to insert within it does nothing, but if you delete within it deletes entire phrases.
So I can't work at song level to do this - has to be phrase level.

I think it's yet another of the glaring omissions of the 1.x OS. I wouldn't call it design... !)
