28 Nov 2008, 09:38Last year i got slated for suggesting that Roland should make a synth, with a sound set that sounds just like a pro record.
Eg. 12 guitar would be eq(ed) etc to give that polish sound out the box.
Alot of opinions stated that each mix requires totally different settings, couldn't be done, stupid for suggesting it, lazy mixing on my behalf.
ANYWAY!
With the release of Yamaha's Tyros 2 and 3, as well as spin off's (psr s700, ps s900), just that now exist.
These machines sell very well, and when compared against other keyboards the customer wants them!, (that's what the girl in the shop said anyway).
So all those who took the piss and blew over 1500 on that dodgy Fantom G, i just like to say, "told you so". I almost feel sorry for you paying a further £230 for a expansion board, just for it to get it's arse kickd by standard presets in the above.
