New Owner: G7

I just picked up my Fantom-G7 plus ARX-02 board and DP-10 pedal. I have owned a Fantom-X8 and G-70 arranger before, and am very excited about the G7.

I am very curious why it has received such poor user reviews on harmony-central... Fortunately, I ignored them when I made my purchase.

Welcome & Congratulations,

I've had my FG7 for about 6 weeks, I am still very excited with it. It's a excellent performance Keyboard, I enjoy playing it a great deal.

The Fantom G is improving my chops, you have to play the thing, at least compared to the other great workstations out there.

Do you still have the FX8 & G70, they are great keyboards, and would get along good with the Fantom G.

I currently use the Fantom G7 with a XS6, M3, V-synth, Radias keyboard, Snow and a Nord Lead. I gave my Fantom X7 to my friends, (i want it back someday).

Fantom G & X7, Motif XS6, M3, V-synth, JP8000, M1, Wavestation, Radias, Nord Lead 2X, Karma, Snow, electribes and other groove boxes.

Thank you all for the kind welcome. I no longer have the other two boards... I sold the FX8 (begrudgingly) during a time of financial hardship, bought the G70 when things picked up because of its excellent live performance characteristics. Then when the Fantom G came out, I made preparations to sell the G70 so I could get a G7.

I miss having the excellent weighted keyboard from the X8, but I love the additional portability of the G7. The synth action is excellent as well.
