And actually I never had this kind of problems with a keyboard.
Funny, Jordan Rudess said the same thing in all the time he has been playing with the Dream Theater!

And might I add, neither have I!

Although I am previously a Yamaha gear owner myself and still have one Yammie board. Never in my entire keyboard playing life have I ever even heard of such a problem as a keyboard suddenly playing in direct dissonant half steps against the players obvious will not to do so.
Interesting also is that the first time some other person experiences something like this, it was with a Roland keyboard product as well i.e. the Juno G.
How do you spell trouble? Looks to me like it could turn out to be spelled r-o-l-a-n-d.

May it never be, but this is really a troubling sign happening with one of the worlds premier keyboard players Fantom G8, and happening during a very important live engagement no less. And yes, because it happened to a big name like Rudess, while the whole world was looking on, that Roland will take it upon themselves to deliver the next OS firmware update for the Fantom G in an expeditious manner. In other words, fast and efficiently and with major improvements and enhancements to version 1.10.

God willing, our prayers will be answered.

And perhaps we will find it in our hearts to forgive Roland of this blundering mishap that has occurred with this their current flagship workstation - the Fantom G. >> That's only if they fix the problem(s) though of course.

If they fail in their efforts to deliver the goods you most likely will see people jumping ship all over the place looking for another 'qualified' keyboard manufacturer that knows HOW to get it right.

And everyone knows they won't be heading in Alesis' direction either..

Which narrows the field even more unfortunately.
>> I'm still counting on Roland to come through though. I just need to be patient and believe for the best.
