Access Virus?

Access Virus?

I'm looking at getting a Virus in addition to the G I'll be picking up shortly, and I was wondering what sort of a Virus should I get? I'd be fine getting one without keys and midi-ing it to the G (like a rack or module), and preferably I could save some money that way...? Any ideas? I don't want to spend $3000 here...

For a virus with no keys you need to look at the fully fledged Virus TI Desktop or its less powerful but cheaper brother, the TI Snow.

Keywise you have option between the Virus Synth or the Polar version which is a smaller keyboard...expensive though.

Any Access Virus would be a great addition to the G, I use a TI Desktop version with my X.

Yo, Arctica:

There is hope. An Access Virus called "Snow" exists for under $1,500. Check it out at Sweetwater or NovaMusik.

Snow uses the same engine as their much-more expensive TI synths, and costs about half of their flagship keyboard version. It also has fewer knobs and such, but it sounds like you don't mind it if it isn't swimming in top-panel controls.
