Using a GR 33 with a Cello

I have an electric cello with an RMC synth pick up.
The GR 33 default settings do not track with the the bowing of the strings. Are there settings with in the GR 33 controls that will help with this?

The GR-33 has, as all Roland GR, a velocity setting for each string so I guess you have to mess with that. I also believe that there is a pickup sensitivity setting (but can't remember for sure).
