How can I do a fade out at the end of a song in the sequencer and when resampling?
Thanks a lot

I am not sure....

You SHOULD be able to fade the song out (Manually) using the Main volume knob....Provided that you have the parameters set to record the SYS control messages....

I haven't uused the resampling feature yet....so I am guessing here...

Can someone else confirm this????

Hi!

When sequencing a song (I am assuming that you are using a Fantom X keyboard) you can record global volume changes by accessing the master volume level - Mixer screen / Hold SHIFT as you press F3. If you have chosen to allow system exclusive data to be recorded, any master volume level changes will also be recorded.

The strange thing that I have noticed is that when resampling the completed sequence, the master volume levels do not affect the recording! (e.g. The 'fade out' recorded as a sequenced event will not occur in the resample.)

Can someone explain how to go about sampling a 'fade out' within the Fantom itself? I usually do this function on Sonar when converting song files to mp3 etc.

Thanks!

You could always record the volume changes in each midi track gradually going down to zero. That's how I've done it.

Ha Ha Ha! This is why I make the 'Big Bucks'!! =)

Thanks, Ctimmerman!

A little bit more work though. I guess that is why I choose to perform this function in Sonar!

Work = Bad
Laziness = Good ;>)

By the way, did you get the last mp3?

Thanks a lot guys!
But when resampling, how can I fade a voice recorded in an audio track? Do I have to make it manually in the audio track level?
