Reccomendations on how to create a good wah distorted guitar

With my EPS-16+, there was an easy way to assign a compound effect that had distortion and wah where I could assign my cv pedal as the controller for the wah amount, like a cry-baby.

So far, looking at the distortions, amp simulations, compound distortion plus other effects (chorus, delay, etc...) and the auto-wah, I can't see a way to vary the "wah" amount with my pedal. I'll admit, I know I've just started scratching the surface of the capabilities of my Fantom, but some pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

I'm curious on this topic too!

I hooked up an actual CryBaby and it's just too noisy...

Have a look at this thread. It doesnt matter that it deals with the EV-5. I use this same setup with both the expression pedal and with my midi controller.

Current boards: Fantom X6 and P-80

you can control any 4 of 5 WahWah parameters(depth, phase, rate, manual , sensitivity) with expression..
Follow the suggestion in the referred thread.
