Does adding the program changes solve this problem? It's as if the JS has a separate sound engine for playing standard midi files... I use the GM2 Template but it still only plays default piano on each track.... I don't...

Pretty cool to be able to shut off the JS and have the velocity settings remain in memory and actually play at the written value on power-up. The play list is also faster. The whole keyboard screen seems a bit faster.

I can try but my experience Roland support is pretty slow in responding. Thanks for the advice though...
