Yeah, looks like we have a lot of similarities when it comes to our choices of physical activity. I'm 6 foot 4, at 200 lbs., fairly lean (no belly either), and born to ride!! (And by the way, sambasevam, I've eaten vegetarian for 20+ years).

There's nothing more exhilirating than an early morning 50k ride. Well, maybe a few things ; -))

My main ride is a Cannondale Hybrid. I also own a Trek Tandem that is great for taking the ladies for a ride (that includes my granddaughter). You can also kick ass on it with a good stoker on the rear seat! I recently sold a Cannondale mountain bike and will look for one with a bit better geometry for my height.

Anyway, hope you have a good season of pumping pedal.
Ride on. . . . . . .

Wow great bikes, I really dig Trek bikes finish and paint job.
The tandem must be cool, I never try one.

I have a hand built Marinoni (Chromo steel frame with carbon fork, Campy Veloce groupo). I chose my paint job/color with all the equipment, bought it in 2002.
The co. is near my work in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada.
I love my bike, but I wish I had the $$$$ to have a full carbon frame. Price are comming down but are still a bit high for me, and I have other interest like music ;-)

Haha Crazy, Im 18, feel very young, i traded in my Mesa Boogie triple rec after figuring out that i do not want to pursue a career with a record company, my band beyond these doors are still playing out alot, but its more of a side thing now. im focusing on the 2 other things in life that i have enjoyed so far, a. I plan to go to Berklee in 2 years after i finish my General Ed. B. I would like ot fulfill a career composing for Video Game Soundtracks or commercials/Movies. I love Video Game music compose a ton of stuff, and am re-learning things i learnt and forgot when i was 4-14. Most my theory is coming back, but last 4 years of my life have been dedicated to my Heavy Heavy Rock band in which most of was just tearing sound apart using distortion and loud vocals.

But I focus more on my vocals then anything else! lol

seems like were all talking about life n stuff haha.

bassman and Steph3dfx, nice to see some fit and healthy people on this forum. I lead a very similar lifestyle to you guys and after doing music for over 30 years I am beginning to observe a definate development of the 'healthy and fit' musician, as opposed to the chain-smoking, half-dazed and sleep deprived muso of the seventies and eighties.

bassman, what are you intending to do with your certificate in alternative medicines?

I also go biking and have a Giant NRS1 which is great fun. I have a road bike, which i rarely use as the gears would be better suited lance armstrong :D

So if your in England and see a big bloke puffing away trying to get up the north downs on a blue Giant NRS - you may well have seen HiveHead!!

I'm 25 for a couple more months.

17 is too old to make it bigtime? maybe if you want to be omario or something...but the day you're too old to make it big time making music is the day you die...seriously.

even if you go to some bubble gum teen pop concert....if there's a band behind the lip-syncing dancer, you'll notice that they aren't young kids playing...they're seasoned older adults who know how to play music extremely well.

I know that I'll want to make music even when I'm 70...I'm sure that it won't be hip hop :)........but it will certainly be something good.

Besides the music, I also work as a broker for a barter company, but I'm about to quit that and become a sales and operational manager for an indoor ad company that I've been the primary ad designer for during the last 2 years.
I have a business partner who I'm teaming up with to launch Streetz Magazine in michigan as well.

Hello Jost,

I really haven't visualized eaxctly what I'll do when I get the certification. It is still a bit in the future, as I have 1-2 years to full retirement from my day gig. I have begun some personal study, textbook study, and prep (learning Sanskrit).

For the time being, the knowledge gained on how to live a more complete and attuned life is priceless.

HiveHead: One of the programmers at one of my accounts rides a Giant to work daily. Great bike! If I'm ever 'over the pond' again I'll keep an eye for you (I spent 1978 in the UK).

I've managed to make it to 32, which is quite surprising to anyone who knows me well.

Hey bassman - spill the beans - what do you bench?

i'm trying to get some kind of body back after 6 years of not carring. So i'm up to 90kgs for a couple of reps but am not getting any better! I'm using barbell not dumbs by the way:D

HiveHead

My approach is do less weight with more reps. . . looking for tone and not bulk. So when I get to that part of the routine, I usually bench 40-50kgs for 20-25 reps. . .2 sets of 10 + 5 sometimes. Weight training is used to supplement my cardio (which is cycling, love it!!)

I am no Arnold Schwartzenegger! Just wanting to stay in a condition that allows me to enjoy life.

I,m 12 and going to sign with Sony Latin next week. (I wish)

Just kiding

I,m Actually 31. I have my own recording studio in Puerto Rico. But I just work on it part time on nights and weekends. I mostly do Christian and Gospel, Praise and Worship. Also have done some work for some Radio Stations in the area. I recorded four albums last year. Including one of my own band.

I also have a band. We play christian music mostly Poprock. Dont get a lot of income from it. Well I do spend a lot on equipment and gas and food and hotels when were on the road. But I do it because I love the big guy up there in heaven. I like to spread the word of God all I can. So if youre reading this you should know that there is a God in heaven who wants to be your friend. Read his word and talk to him every day. Thats it. Youre life will change forever.

Im going to be a father for the first time on July. Its going to be a boy. I have to play and learn my X6 all I can now. I dont think Im going to have much time after my little guy is born.

For the guys who are 17 and 18 who think life is over cause you havent made it the mayors yet, think again. Life is just starting. You dont peak a 17. Ask Lebron James who have not peaked yet. Maybe God has bigger and better plans for you. You might have told God all the things you want to do but have not taken time to ask him what he wants you to do.

I hope Im not boring you. Thats mostly it. God Bless you all!!!
