Huge Problem _ RolandCloudManager-Service.log

3 Mar 2026, 12:58
My computer flashed a message saying I was out of disk space - not possible. I searched my computer for the culprit and it is a Roland Cloud log file that's over 92GB !! (C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Roland Cloud) Why in the world are they collecting so much data? Couldn't open the file with notepad because it's way too big. Anyone run into this? Can I delete this without causing Cloud problems ? Thanks

Hi:
Yes, you could flush this log file.
But this don't solve the reason why this file grows in such way.

To clean (flush) this log file, as a local administrator, stop RCM service (chech with task manager if it's running).
Once it's stopped, with your user account, open a CMD windows an cd to the the folder where this file is located.
at prompt c: ......\> type NUL >logfilename.log <enter>

check with dir cmd if the file size comes to 0 bytes

then exit and reboot to restart RCM service.
I do recommend after restart, check again this log file before grows , best way is doing cmd command at same folder type logfile | more to see what's going wrong.
The worst scenerary is reinstall again RCM.
Best regards,
Flavio M.
