RD-2000 EX upgrade, can I use just half of it?

I'm getting an RD-2000, and planning to get the upgrade. But what if I want to free up the EXT B bank for other expansions after trying the upright pianos? Can I just replace that part of the upgrade with something else, while keeping the grand pianos?

I'll reply to myself, since I know the answer now. There are two separate slots only for modelled pianos, called SA and SB. While the A and B slots are only for the free expansions from the Axial website.
