Roland Cloud Manager shows up as threat in virus scan

Trojan:Win64/CobaltStrike.SB!MTB was found in rolandcloudmanager.exe

My virus scan reports are usually boring as can be. No threats found is the usual summary.

I just recently updated Roland Cloud Manager per Roland Cloud Manager showing the update available. Maybe a week ago? I've had RCM on my computer since late 2020, so this is a first.

Anybody else get this?

Hi, Calvin7s! Brian from Roland Cloud here. We've been researching this issue this week and we've found that this notification is due to a recent update to Windows Defender that has mistakenly flagged several Chromium-based applications. We are in the process of updating our whitelisting with Windows. Great question. Thanks! 😊
