Remember you can make any tone adapt to your liking...

My favourite piano and pipe organ are the ones I built.

Have a try...πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I've had my Fantom 06 a few days now, and couldn't wait to get the classic model expansions installed on it.
Then I saw it was $150 each for a lifetime key, so yeah, I guess I can wait.
Bit of a crap move by Roland at $600 for the set, and could very well be a deal breaker for some potential Fantom 0 buyers.
So they're free with the "big" Fantom but you have to pay with Fantom 0 ?

Yes, though being free for the "big" fantom was supposed to be a limited time promotion.

So, to have the same synth expansions on the Fantom 0 you have to pay 600 more and you still have no v-piano and have a really small memory (256mb) for expansions and multisamples. That doesn't sound like a very good deal.

Even if you actually want all $600 worth of expansion, though, the 0 would still save you over a grand, and would still weigh a whole lot less. But by all means, if you can afford the price and weight of the full Fantom, no doubt, it's better!

Sadly yes, oh and the memory at 256mb is ridiculous, I've already had to uninstall free expansions as it causes sound drop outs if it gets too full.
I'm pretty sure there must be car keys with more than 256mb of memory, it's actually embarrassing for a product released in 2022.

Exactly. When the Fantom-0 was announced i was really excited. I thought Roland was gonna a "modx" with the new line. Unfortunately they cut on areas i consider important for this keyboard, namely in the sound department.

The keyboard doesn't send Aftertouch, but the synthesizer does recognize it. :-)
