OS 2.1 - what about the sequencer !

Fantom 8 is really a great machine but ...
The OS 2.1 brings new stuff but NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE FOR THE SEQUENCER ... I just repeat:
- tempo track
- more time signature
- insert different time signature in a song
- have more than a 32 measures in a pattern
- start a pattern/song exactly at the point you want it
- load a complete midi file (in one shot)
- etc
It's clear that I don't work with a DAW but I should have this choice and I think I should be able to do all we can wait from a sequencer on a such machine.
I understand that the actual sequencer presents a new (and easy) way to do the things, I appreciate it, but it is not complete.
Must I keep the hope ?
