Using the MPD-16 with the X6
17 Jan 2005, 04:07Hey I wanted to know how the MPC/MPD pads feel in comparison to the ones on the Fantom X.
I also know that in order to use the MPD16 it needs to be hooked up by USB or AC adaptor. Because I move samples back and forth thru USB, would it be best to just get the adapter and use it?
Also would the Velocity pads and the MPD16 both work at the same time? Especially because I addition how I plan to sequence the beat by going to Mixer mode and going to All Mute and pressing the pads to mute and unmute sounds. So could the MPD16 and the velocity pads work at the same time? And how big exactly is the MPD16? I know its not as big as the MPC. What is the perimeter? And what is the perimeter of each pad? 1 inch by 1 inch?
