How to save tones to a Scene?

How to save tones to a Scene?

Under Roland.com Jupiter-X & Xm – The Ultimate Guide, Question #12 tells you about saving Jupiter X sounds (tones an scenes). However it seems to tell you if you want to make a change to a tone, how to save it right were the original sound is.

My question is starting with Scene 8-1 through 16-16 we can save our our favorite settings. So if I want piano and strings from XV #12 to be on Scene 8-1 and Electric piano and strings #30 from XV on Scene 8-2, how do you do this?

I figured you choose Scene 8-1, and then click Write. Go to Tone 1 and somehow open the XV #12 and save it on this Scene? I also tried going to Scene 8-1, then click on Menu, Scene edit and then I got stuck.

Ok, I figured it out, once you have the sound you want, go to the Scene page you want to save it, click write, put in the name and hit the write button again.

What I like is that you can still edit the TONE and save them directly in a SCENE.
This is not TONE edit per se, just _offset_ edit which are SCENE level parameters.

From a personal point of view, I really miss the PATCH/PERFORMANCE/RYTHM logic of the older Roland digital gear, which still lives under the hood of these ZEN-Core machines.
Saving edited sound parameters was much more straightforward, and so was the UI.
