track merge?

Here's a newbie question for you:

I've got a fantom xa and I've been recording some tracks on the sequencer. Somehow I've accidentally married track 2 and 3 so that no matter what patch I have programmed to them, they both play together, change volume together, etc. etc. I would like to split them back so that they are agian individual patches that play and record and can be adjusted independently of each other.

A) What did I do that linked the two tracks together?
B) How do I get them back to seperate independent channels?

you have 2 boxes checked at the same time in layer split mode got into layer split and uncheck one of them

I did actually find it. I had them both patched to midi channel 2.

I reckon boseman102002 and Chick Corea are the SAME person, but no doubt you have already noticed this?

I have a question, I have a Triton Workstation and a Fantom X6. I want to run the Triton, thru the Fantom because I like the sequencer in the Fantom. How do I set up the two keyboards so that I can record onto the Fantom, using the sounds of the Triton without a mixer

I really think this and other threads with the fantom pro junk should be cleared. It is misleading to newcomers and others that are unaware of the nonsensical nature of them.
