Trying to connect soundbar... what am I doing wrong?

Very new to the JD-XI, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if I'm trying to do something that's just not possible. I have tried this on two soundbars, and neither are working. I have a Dual 1/4 Inch to Dual RCA Audio Cable and connecting it via the keyboard and soundbar... but no sound, nothing. Is there something in the menu I need to do, or am I just being daft thinking this will work? Thanks in advance.

This is the cable I have:

Potentially the soundbar has an input toggle button so that it knows you want to play through the analog input instead of the digital input. They are meant for use with digital audio for video lip-sync in a/v systems and probably default to the digital input.
