your opinion on living in London, pls

hi, people.

i really think about relocating to London in a year.
before i start my paperwork i'd appreciate an advice on live experience of living in London. Regarding weather, jobs, cost of living, music, events, places, whatever....
let me be understood right, i can gather any factual information on a web. what i'm asking is your personal interpretation, like what mood London brings down on you, or where it did meet your expectations and where it did not.

I've been living in London for about 4years now. I was from New Zealand. I love London, I think it is the greatest place on earth. I also see myself hating it for the same reasons I love it - if you know what I mean. IMO you cant go wrong with doing something life changing every so often. The weather is bad - but then it gets cold in russia. Living is costly but if you can get a good job then it's not so bad. The music scene is great. Bands, venues, people to rip you off every were. I started a band over here and have been gigging around all the hot spots in London - LOVE IT! I was a bit stressed out when I first moved here. I had no job and rent was very expensive but after a few months things started to work themselves out.

Don't expect much and you'll have a great time. It's all good, its all bad.

Londoners are cold people. Though more open minded I would say they are less friendly. I am from the US and have lived in three countries. The cool people I found in London were all foreigners or 1st generation Brits.
The clubs were awesome and the people in London are some of the luckiest on Earth because the radio stations are the BOMB! I loved listening to radio while living there.
Sexy people are few and far between.
