Smartcard backup

Has anyone successfully backed up their smartmedia to their computer? I'm about to try it and I'm not really sure how to. Will the backup retain my sequencer data that uses samples on the card?

Just treat it as a straightforward file copy procedure. If you're in Windows, open Explorer, highlight the drive that represents your SM card, open the volume, highlight all of the files and use the copy function to put them in the directory of choice on your hard drive.

Although I can't specifically answere your sequencer data question, the procedure above will save every bit of data on the card.
